Our services include recruitment, new hire onboarding, employee benefits, health and wellness, employee events, compensation management, employee training, safety and risk management, employment policy administration, employment law compliance, unemployment, workers' compensation, and retirement administration.

Employee Benefits

The City of Granite Shoals offers the following employee benefits:

  • Medical insurance for full-time employees. The city pays 100% of the employee medical insurance premiums (the employee is responsible for any dependent coverage; the monthly premium is a payroll deduction)
  • Workers' compensation insurance
  • The city participates in Social Security
  • Membership in the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS)
  • The city matches 7% employee contributions at a rate of 2:1; the vesting period of five years.
  • Vacation and sick leave.
  • 13 paid annual holidays; 1 paid Personal Day, available to full-time employees, in good standing, employed for six months or longer, approved in advance by the Department Head.
