Wanting to List Your Vacation Rental

Welcome to Granite Shoals' Short-Term Rental Permit Registration and Hotel Occupancy Tax Collection page.

Step 1) Please download and complete the Short-Term Rental Application as part of the application process. 

Step 2) Once your application has been submitted and paid for, the Granite Shoals Police Department will arrange a time to inspect your property both for safety and compliance with our City Ordinances. This inspection is included as part of the annual fee.

Step 3) Optionally, after you have been approved our Marketing Department will contact you to discuss the options to include your property in our Visit Granite Shoals Online Digital Directory for Vacation Stays. This will require you to list your STR with one of the major STR platforms such as Airbnb or VRBO to name a few. Our Directory service is also included as part your application fee.

Step 4) Once you have started to rent your property out, you will need to complete and pay the Taxes each Quarter using this Hotel Tax Form.  *Please note, a Quarterly report must be filed with the City even if no tax is due.

Complaints should be directed to the Granite Shoals Police Dispatch 806-304-4260 or 911 for emergencies.
